Thank you to Barbarians Wrestling Club for putting together such an important event for us all again. They are leading the way to ensure wrestling in Northern Ireland is noticed.
We have started our path towards the Commonwealth games in Birmingham in just a couple of years. Be prepared!! Grassroots development is where it all starts!

Nenagh Freestyle Tournament

We had a fantastic day in Tipperary at the first Nenagh freestyle tournament. Excellent experience for everyone involved and very well run. Great to see such great support for grass roots and club development from the Irish Amateur Wrestling Assoc. in putting this together with Nenagh wrestling!
Charlotte and Sarah traveled down, wrestled incredible and both won Gold. Awesome display of technique by both of these ladies. Charlotte was relentless on her double leg attacks and getting around the corner for the ten point win in the final while Sarah had to dig deep with little time left the get the winning takedown. Awesome girls!!! “Wrestle like a girl”

Inter-club Training Session

Another fantastic trip to Dublin today with some of the Ulster squad! Summer slam with a big thanks to Daniel, Keith, Michael and clubs from the IAWA!
And thanks to Stuart. Mark and the whole crew from Carrick Barbarians!
Darragh and Reece represented us proud coming home with Gold and Silver respectively!
A great interclub learning session!!
